As part of the gradual lifting of restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Poland’s hotel sector resumed operations on May 4th, while the catering industry reopened on May 18th.

To ensure the safety of visitors and employees, all associated facilities have introduced specific procedures to minimize infection risk.

Based on the Guidelines for Running Hotels / Establishments / Boarding Houses during the COVID-19 Epidemic as well as the Guidelines for Running Catering Services during the SARS-CoV-2 Epidemic in Poland, issued by the Ministry of Economic Development together with the Chief Sanitary Inspector, the Polish Tourism Organization has initiated a program designed specifically for businesses providing accommodations.

The main goal of this initiative is to give visitors, and guests access to information about facilities offering their services in compliance with the guidelines. Participation in the program is entirely voluntary.

By joining this project, establishments that use the Hygienic Safe Venue. We Follow the Guidelines logo declare that the services they provide are following the current guidelines of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate.
