
The Bialowieza forest is a symbol of Poland’s natural wealth and diversity. The experts
recognized its unique value and the Bialowieza National Park was included on the
UNESCO’s World Heritage List as well as on the UNESCO’s List of World Biosphere
Reserves. The park is home to some remarkable animal life, including rare mammals
such as the wolf, the lynx and the otter. The biggest attraction of the park is European
Bison, a species which has been reintroduced into the park.
